The Flemish Director's Guild (Unie van Regisseurs) is honouring Pieter-Jan De Pue in the documentary category for his first feature The Land of the Enlightened. The film, a stunning cinematic journey into the beauty of war-tormented Afghanistan, has already garnered multiple festival awards, including the World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Cinematography at the Sundance Film Festival. 

Pieter-Jan is now working on his second feature Two Poachers, a story about two brothers going to war in Eastern Ukraine (in pre-production).  


As the countdown for SUNDANCE  is at it's end with the the festival kicking off today, Valerie will be at there as a press officer to represent Jeff Beal.

Krakower Group has invited Valerie to monitor all press and relations for the House of Cards composer. He will be in attendance to present his score for the new Al Gore documentary, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, which will serve as the centerpiece of the festival's 'The New Climate' program. Closer to home, Riema and Katrien will attend IFFR at Rotterdam to present a new series to the world. Generatie B will have its world premiere, in attendance of Joost Vandecasteele (writer) and Pieter Van Hees (director). King of the Belgians and Home will also both be screened as part of the festivals 'Voices' program.

Lastly, Sophie will be starting at the BERLINALE on Monday as guest officer for the first feature film section. Riema, Valerie and Thijs will join Sophie during the festival.

IFFRotterdam selects Generation B, Home and King of the Belgians

Post Bills' latest project 'Generation B' by Joost Vandecasteele and Pieter Van Hees, a new series for CANVAS airing on Feb. 8th, will have its world premiere at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam!

The festival also selected the top of the Belgian crop 'Home' by Fien Troch and 'King Of The Belgians' by Peter Brosens and Jessica Woodworth.  Additionally Fien Troch will also be part of the international Hivos Tiger jury!

New European projects for Post Bills PR in 2017!

Exciting times ahead for the Post Bills crew! We're happy to announce some new European projects coming up very soon. Sophie is currently working in Berlin to prepare for the 29th EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS in Poland on December 10th where she will be coordinating guests with the wonderful people of the European Film Awards. Riema will be heading to Turin end of November to join the awesome TORINOFILMLAB team. She will be a consultant on an Audience Design project and will also be there to present Gilles Coulier's 'Cargo' in the Coming soon section of the Lab. After the release of Fien Troch's 'Home' in Belgium on 11.01.16, Sophie will be traveling straight back to Berlin to work as a jury coordinator for the BERLINALE 2017 edition. So we're looking forward to bump into you somewhere this fruitful winter!
